Our website is dedicated to paying tribute to the men and women of the military as well as the civilians who support them in their time of service.
Inspiration for the creation of this site came from the discovery of a collection of vmail letters belonging to Henry Kapica. Henry Kapica's untiring efforts to boost the morale of friends and soldiers from his home town during WWII can be read and felt in every letter.
D M Wilson LLC, the managing company, was founded in 2014 and is based out of Northwest Indiana. Our company's current objectives are finding unpublished materials of veterans, obtaining Gift of Copyright on these items, and publishing these oral histories for others to use as an educational resource. We are always looking for and adding new content so please come back and visit to see if new letters have been added.
We hope to honor the courage of these men and women, military or civilian.
It is our hope that the words of these veterans can be used as an educational resource for students, historians, scholars, and the general public. It is also our hope that the words of the young men and women who served their country can bring hope to those who are now facing the difficulties of life during and after combat.
Hopefully this website can provide comfort when a soldier feels no one cares, show a soldier that there is support for healing, and with time give them the understanding that they too can have full long lives.
